About
Who publishes Humanoid Hubs, what the index covers, and what it deliberately does not do.
What this is
Humanoid Hubs is an independent editorial index of hotels, published at humanoidhubs.space. It covers four categories — art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels — and nothing else. Properties are drawn from several regions and the index has no home country; it is written for readers anywhere.
Why these four categories
Each of the four represents a distinct answer to what a hotel should be. The art hotel treats a collection as an operating department. The capsule hotel reduces the private room to a berth and reinvests the space. The casino hotel is a large full-service property with a gaming floor among its facilities. The ice hotel rebuilds itself from scratch every winter. Grouping by idea rather than by city makes the differences legible.
How entries are chosen
We pick properties that are real, currently operating and bookable directly with the operator, and that represent their category clearly rather than marginally. We look for buildings that solve the category brief in a way the others do not, so that four entries teach more than forty would.
What we do not do
We do not take bookings, hold inventory, or earn commission. We publish no star ratings, no scored reviews and no user reviews. We do not accept payment for inclusion, for placement or for favourable wording, and no entry on this site has been paid for.
Corrections
Hotels change. Wings close, programmes end, seasonal buildings shift their dates, ownership changes hands. If you find something out of date or wrong, write to us and we will check it and amend the entry. Suggestions for properties that belong in one of the four categories are welcome on the same basis.
