Privacy Policy

What limited information this site collects, why, and how to stop it.

The short version

This is a small editorial site with no accounts, no logins and no shopping basket. We collect very little, we sell none of it, and you can opt out of most of it in your browser.

What is collected

Our host records standard server logs when a page is served: IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are discarded on a rolling basis.

We use basic, aggregated traffic measurement to see which pages are read. It tells us page counts and rough regions, not identities. We do not build profiles, do not run advertising trackers, and do not embed social media pixels.

Email

If you write to editors@humanoidhubs.space, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the thread resumes. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Any cookie present is functional and short-lived. Blocking cookies in your browser will not break anything here.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. The only third parties involved are the hosting provider that serves the pages and the traffic measurement described above, both acting on our instructions.

Opting out

Use your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker and the measurement described above stops. To have an email exchange deleted from our records, ask, and we will delete it.

External links

Pages here may link to hotel websites. Those sites are run by other organisations under their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply once you leave.

Changes

If this policy changes we will replace the text on this page. There is no archived version; the page as published is the policy in force.
